Comprehensive motor vehicle insurance covers damage to the policyholder’s vehicle as the result of an insured event. There are two types of comprehensive insurance: partially and fully comprehensive. Partially comprehensive insurance covers events such as fire, lightening, explosions, short circuits, acts of God, theft, glass breakages and collisions with animals. Fully comprehensive insurance also includes other collisions.
